Studio W Architects

In a media-saturated world, it’s easy to forget the power of a personal connection.

As media production professionals, we know the power of a good interview. When you interview someone for that customer testimonial, you’re giving them a chance to share their story and perspective on the world. And when you share those interviews with your community, you’re allowing them to connect with that person and their individual experience. It’s a way to bring people together and create a sense of connection.

Every interview is unique. The conversation is a collaboration between the interviewee and the interviewer to create a specific narrative.

In this day and age, people want videos, audio, media. 79% of people have watched a video testimonial to learn more about a company, product, or service (Wyzowl). They want to see the real-life faces of actual customers. You get to see a person’s expressions, how they might lean in when they speak, or how their eyes light up when talking—real, genuine human connection.

Plus, from a marketing perspective, the benefits are great as well. For example, 70% of marketing professionals report that video converts better than any other medium (Forbes).

Studio W Architects, with whom we have worked with for several projects, is a prime example of this. Founded in 1989, first under the name BCA Architects, Studio W Architects have consistently achieved excellence in public and private education, civic, commercial, and retail markets throughout California. In 2021, they changed their name to Studio W Architects to better reflect the firm’s core values and dynamic team.

In our most recent project with firm, the reconstruction of Sowers Middle School, we were able to interview district leaders and illustrate the positive impact the project would have.

Watch the short clip below to learn more about the impact of a customer testimonial through a video interview.

We’ve done some work with Studio W Architects and they’re based in Sacramento. They do public works architecture all throughout the state of California. We’ve worked on a handful of projects for them, and most of them have been client testimonial focused where we go to the site of the school district in this instance. And we get to hear about the working experience of the school district with Studio W Architects overall, the work has been enjoyable because it’s based on the interview. If the facility is completed, there’s opportunity for finished video of the interior of the exterior of the facility, which is easy to do because it’s a brand new build and elegantly designed. But the interview is where the video narrative really takes shape. That to me is the most fulfilling part of the work that I do is the opportunity to research a story, prepare with questions and meet the interviewee that day and, and, and guide them through this conversation where they then share with me their thoughts and their working experience.

Another project we worked on was the reconstruction of Sowers Middle School, which is a part of Huntington Beach City School District. So we went on site and we were able to interview district leaders and then cast the vision for the public as they see this construction project began. So that video and that narrative was then put out to the public to share with families about the future planning for this district and setting themselves up for success into the future. So the interview is really where these videos come to life. We’ve really enjoy the opportunity working with Studio W Architects and seeing the work that they’re doing throughout the state of California.
