Who we are

Watershed, Inc. doing business as Watershed Media, in Chico, California. We make websites, comms, video, photo, and automations. Privacy questions go to info@watershedmedia.io.

What we collect

• Contact form: name, email, and message. Those go out through Resend so we can reply.
• Site usage: Google Analytics (cookies or similar technology) when it is enabled, so we can see traffic at a high level.
• Basic server and CDN logs: things like IP address, browser, pages requested, and timestamps, used to run and secure the site.

Why we collect it

To respond to inquiries, understand how the site is used, and keep the site working and secure. We do not use this site to build advertising profiles or sell lists.

Sharing

We share information with processors that help us run the site: Resend (email), Google (Analytics), and our hosting/CDN (Cloudflare and AWS, as applicable). We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

After launch we may use Google Analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, and Google provides an opt-out for Analytics. If Analytics is off, we still get the basic logs needed to serve the pages.

Retention

We keep inquiry email as long as we need it to reply and run the business. Analytics data follows the provider’s defaults unless we shorten that later.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you can ask us for access to the personal information we have about you, ask us to delete it, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Email info@watershedmedia.io and we will work through the request.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this page. The date at the top is the current version.
